The La Sportiva flagship store in Boulder, CO, showcases a rugged yet refined aesthetic that embodies the brand's adventurous spirit. Our design approach emphasized the use of natural, locally sourced materials to create an authentic connection with the brand’s alpine heritage. The space features warm wood fixtures and textured accents that evoke the outdoors, bringing an organic feel to the interior while blending harmoniously with the brand’s vibrant product lines. A dynamic ceiling installation of layered wood mimics the contours of mountainous landscapes, adding depth and visual interest while guiding visitors through the store. Despite the challenges posed by the building’s previous layout as an old bank, we crafted a layout that balances functionality with visual storytelling. Mannequins and display areas are strategically placed to showcase La Sportiva’s technical apparel and gear, enhancing both product visibility and accessibility. Oversized graphics and illuminated brand messaging reinforce La Sportiva’s core values and brand identity. This flagship store design successfully redefines La Sportiva’s physical brand presence in the U.S., offering an immersive, tactile shopping experience that resonates with the outdoor enthusiast.
