Each fixture and in-store element has been thoughtfully developed to highlight Ariat’s premium product offerings, from durable footwear to classic apparel. The layout and display solutions are crafted to balance functionality with aesthetic appeal, creating a space where customers can easily engage with the merchandise while feeling the authentic western vibe that defines Ariat. PORTER teamed up with Callaway to provide a state-of-the-art hitting bay experience. Every section of the space was thoughtfully crafted to enhance the user experience for golfers of every level. PORTER recently completed the double fitting bay at Todd Graves School of Golf for Callaway Golf. The space features a workstation designed for optimal efficiency and accessibility with lighted cabinets and drawers that allow for product to be fully visible. Other features include backlit Callaway & Todd Graves logos, as well as a large screen with face-out arms to display additional clubs and keep them easily accessible. PORTER developed the design, engineering, production, and installation of all elements in the bays.

Utilizing player swing data fed into AI, Callaway’s new Paradym Smoke driver changed driver construction yet again by adding human input into its shape. To explain this new construction method and the addition of AI, PORTER created a countertop launch piece that layered the face construction in a floating hologram display that highlighted the AI data points from the swing data on the driver face itself. The finished product lit up and provided a futuristic display in store.

Our design approach emphasized the use of natural, locally sourced materials to create an authentic connection with the brand’s alpine heritage. The space features warm wood fixtures and textured accents that evoke the outdoors, bringing an organic feel to the interior while blending harmoniously with the brand’s vibrant product lines. A dynamic ceiling installation of layered wood mimics the contours of mountainous landscapes, adding depth and visual interest while guiding visitors through the store. Despite the challenges posed by the building’s previous layout as an old bank, we crafted a layout that balances functionality with visual storytelling. Mannequins and display areas are strategically placed to showcase La Sportiva’s technical apparel and gear, enhancing both product visibility and accessibility. Oversized graphics and illuminated brand messaging reinforce La Sportiva’s core values and brand identity. This flagship store design successfully redefines La Sportiva’s physical brand presence in the U.S., offering an immersive, tactile shopping experience that resonates with the outdoor enthusiast.
